Dome Homes: The Future Is Here?!

I thought it was funny when I ran across this post and video on Treehugger a week or two ago talking about Dome Homes. I did a marketing presentation on these things when I was in college, and never really saw them take off. But maybe they are starting to become more popular and more accepted.

Admittedly, they are a bit strange looking, but they have so many benefits! From energy efficiency to weather- (like hurricanes and earthquakes too) proof, why wouldn't someone be interested in these homes.

And, now they rotate with the sun. How cool is that? Check out the video.
