- I love to write. I started my adult life thinking I was going to be a veterinarian because I love animals too. Unfortunately, biochem didn't love me. Instead of med school, I went to J-school at USC for my journalism masters and then the University of Utah. Of course, East L.A. is no place for a mountain chick so ike the Beverly Hillbillies, I packed it up and moved to where there was gold- Utah gold. In Park City, I concentrate my energy on writing about the outdoors, recreation and adventure travel. I'm a single mom now so I also spend copious amounts of time playing with the chicklet and daydreaming of her skiing and hiking alongside me. I am also an editor (Sports Guide, 40k circ.), a broadcaster, actress and Level III- certified ski instructor. I love long walks on the beach, tequila sunrises, Van Morrison and Hemingway. And I spend waaaay too much time on the internet.
